Coronavirus tracker: California 932 new cases and 38 new deaths as of May 3

California reported 932 new cases of the coronavirus in the state, bringing the total number of cases so far to 3,717,692, according to Monday’s end-of-day totals on California public health websites.

The 14-day average of new cases is at 1,847.

There were 38 new deaths reported statewide Monday, for a total of 61,548 people who have died from COVID-19.

Hospitalizations across the state are at 1,930, according to Monday’s end-of-day totals on California public health websites.

According to the California Department of Public Health, 30.1 million vaccine doses have been administered in the state and 31.8% of residents are now fully vaccinated.
