Desert Daze set times announced with Beach House replacing Iggy Pop

Desert Daze has announced the set times for the festival happening at Lake Perris over the weekend of Sept. 30-Oct. 2 with some lineup adjustments.

The initial lineup included Tame Impala, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and Iggy Pop. Pop, who played the festival in 2017 and was scheduled to return to close out this year’s event on Sunday, Oct. 2, will now be replaced by Beach House.

According to a press release from festival organizers, the replacement is due to visa issues for Iggy Pop’s France-based band. The press release included a statement from the godfather of punk that said: “I am disappointed to announce the cancellation of my appearance at the Desert Daze Festival. Due to a confluence of world events, we have had unprecedented visa issues for my French band way beyond our control, and the band can’t enter the United States in time for the date. I am frustrated to let my US fans down. I’ve left no stone unturned to be there with you on October 2nd, but now I can only plan to play this wonderful festival again in the future.”

The press release also said that Boy Pablo and Los Retros could no longer perform and that they recently added the band Shame and will include a secret set from a surprise performer.

Although the festival is losing one of its major headliners, it’s still expected to have a star-studded lineup across four stages and an additional stage called the Outer Space, exclusively for campers.

Single-day admission is $139-$666; Weekend admission is $399-$1,999; Camping passes are $99-$379; RV and tent rentals are available; Single-day parking passes are $45-$100; Weekend parking passes are $125-$250. All passes are available at
