Post Malone’s luxurious new $3 million Utah compound is built for the “rockstar” who wants to be prepared for anything.
The genre-blending rapper/singer-songwriter purchased the sprawling property early last year and has resided there ever since, TMZ reports. Take a virtual tour via the video below.
Nestled in 6.5 acres of private land located near the mouth of Salt Lake County’s Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah, the 12,702 square-foot home boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a guest house, according to a listing on real estate company Movoto.
The pad’s luxe amenities include a fire pit, basketball court, wine cellar, home gym, home bar, gourmet chef’s kitchen, hot tub and a pool, plus striking views of thousands of acres of conservation land courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows.
The 24-year-old “Circles” singer had been eyeing the pad for some time. In an episode of the H3 Podcast from 2017, Malone mentioned that he planned to construct an underground fallout shelter on the land.
“I’m just buying a place out in the sticks,” he said per Hypebeast. “I’m building it underground. It’s going to be fun until the world ends. But whenever the world ends, it’s going to be functional.”
In another 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Malone revealed that he picked Utah as the location for his current abode because the state has extraordinarily lax gun laws.
“It’s free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy shit.”
At the time, Malone’s extensive arsenal of weaponry included an M14 rifle and a pump-action Mossberg shotgun in addition to an array of pistols: a Walther PPK, .44-caliber Desert Eagle, M1911 Colt Government, FN Five-Seven equipped with a laser site, and three Glocks—two of which are gold-plated.
“They’re fun, they’re practical, and bad shit happens,” he said of his gun collection. “If you hurt me, I’m gonna hurt you back. I have a lot of valuable shit. I have a lot of friends I wanna protect.”
Malone’s swanky house may have backwoods vibes, but the new video for “Saint-Tropez” off of his recently released third album Hollwood’s Bleeding is all about living large on the French Riviera.
“Ooh, this shit bliss, I’m so rich / Mille on my wrist / Versace boxers on my dick / Bud Light runnin’ through my piss / On a yacht, 50 meters it’s a fish / 50 carats on my fist,” he raps.
Sounds like Malone is getting the best of both worlds.
