Back in May, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes purchased a $1.925 million home in the Kansas City neighborhood of Mission Hills. In the few months since his purchase, the 66-year-old home underwent an extensive renovation.
No room, though, seemed to be more important to Mahomes than his lavish shoe closet.
In a video with Bleacher Report, Mahomes showed off his new house (and the renovation) and gave an extensive look at his custom shoe gallery with around 180 pairs of shoes. The closet included special display lighting, cameras to prevent theft and a personalized entrance.
Given that Mahomes is sponsored by Adidas, the shoes were predictably all made by Adidas. But it was still an impressive collection.
As Mahomes said, he narrowed his shoe closet down to 180 pairs, so he could wear each pair about twice a year. Talk about some tough decisions. His favorite pair was the Yeezy Boost 750 Triple Black.
