Put a jacket on the Black Friday list

Happy Thanksgiving. We have enjoyed a nice day with warming sunshine but today is the last day we see mild 70s until the end of next week. The feel of winter returns tomorrow night.  Evening temps dip into the 50s tonight with sunrise lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Tomorrow a weakening cold front moves our way increasing clouds. The front will remain mostly dry but a few light sprinkles could develop in the morning across southern Georgia. By the afternoon it passes south of our area sweeping the clouds away by the evening. Temps on Black Friday will be in the mid to upper 60s.

Tomorrow night temps drop quick to the mid 40s along the coast to low upper 30s just west of Jacksonville  Friday night.  In southeast Georgia near freezing temps are possible inland Saturday morning.

Patchy areas of frost will be possible across inland southeast Georgia and Suwannee Valley early Saturday morning.

This weekend will be dry with mostly sunny skies Saturday and cool highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.

Sunday will be cloudier as another dry front pushes through keeping temps in the 60s through at least Thursday next week.
