WATCH: Odell Beckham Jr. continues to complain about NFL uniform policy

Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines in Week 1 for wearing an extremely expensive watch. During Week 6, the wide receiver’s uniform pants didn’t cover his knees. Nike cleats inspired by Joker in Week 9 did not match Browns’ uniform.

If it isn’t one uniform violation for the Cleveland star, it is another. Even though Beckham changed out of the white character shoes for the second half of his team’s visit to Denver, the wide receiver continues to complain about the fact that the NFL enforced its uniform policy Sunday.

Specifically, OBJ believes that less than one-fifth of the players in the league follow the uniform policies in place. The inconsistency in fines and enforcement continues to be what the receiver is frustrated with.

“I’m not really out here to hurt anybody by the cleats that I’m wearing,” Beckham said Thursday according to via Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal. “The (uniform) schedule changed, there was nothing I could really do. I’ll try my best to be like the other 15 percent of the NFL who follows the rules and then we’ll go from there.”

Beckham explained that through his partnership with Nike, a plan was set during the preseason for him to wear the Joker cleats Nov. 3 in order to match the team’s white uniforms. Beckham said following Cleveland’s (2-6) 24-19 loss to the Broncos (3-6) that the team changed its uniform plan a few days before the game and that he, “had no cleats left to wear. None that I could’ve worn. And the black ones that I was wearing for the rest of the game, for some reason, was just hurting my feet.” So, he tried to keep the Joker cleats on for the game.

“I feel bad, but I really just don’t care. It’s not just me,” Beckham said Thursday. “I see players from the last game with pants that are on their thighs, but the tights are underneath so it’s like it’s all good. I don’t want to get anybody else in trouble, but I see people wearing lime green and their colors, there’s no team in the NFL that’s lime green except Seattle. Sorry to my brother, I know you know who I’m talking about.”
