PGA golf star Tiger Woods had to be pried from a car with the jaws of life this morning after a single-car, roll-over crash near Rancho Palos Verdes. According to a statement from Woods’s agent, Mark Steinberg, Woods suffered “multiple leg injuries” and was undergoing surgery.

Woods was reportedly the sole occupant of the car, which was traveling north on Hawthorne Boulevard at Blackhorse Road when he crashed just after 7 a.m. The vehicle sustained major damage, and Woods had to be extricated from the by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, sheriff’s officials said.
“The vehicle sustained major damage,” LASD said in a statement. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, where he is being treated for his injuries.
According to Golf Digest, Woods was in L.A. for a shoot with the magazine. Yesterday, he was seen in photos on social media playing golf at Rolling Hills Country Club with celebs including Dwyane Wade and David Spade.
