BYU stays at No. 8 in final polls before first College Football Playoff rankings are released

It’s another week at No. 8 for BYU, after the Cougars beat FCS opponent North Alabama 66-14 on Saturday.

The Cougars stayed eighth in both the Associated Press and Coaches polls released Sunday. The top nine spots in the Coaches poll stayed the same, while the top eight didn’t move in the AP poll.

This comes two days before the initial College Football Playoff rankings are set to be released on Tuesday evening.
